Woodstock is a white-plate colony. A community of pretenders. I get a queasy feeling everytime I cruise that form-over-function town, and the queasiness is only releaved when I pop out on the other side and find myself back in the land of reality, common sense, and hard work. Woodstock is easily my least favorite place in the 802.
It is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue.
-John Adams
For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move; to feel the needs and hitches of our life more nearly; to come down off this feather-bed of civilization, and find the globe granite underfoot and strewn with cutting flints. -Robert Louis Stevenson. -Travels with a Donkey in the Cevenne-
