The "Original" Argument

Yesterday at work I got into a debate with a guy at work about sex outside of marriage.He is of the view that as long it is safe and consentual it is all fine, including sodomy. So as the conversation became more and more heated he had the gumption to state that my views were a result of a brainwashing by the church and I had put no thought into it whatsoever,my argument was not "original".That irritated me. So I asked him if he is so concerned about having an "open" mind,where his argument came from? Was his carefully thought through to a solid conclusion or was it just a "brainwashing" from the world. He couldn't say anything,he fell into his own trap.It clearly show just how closeminded an "openminded" person really is.
